Rouge's thoughts healed some part of me. She and Knuckles were my very first ship before I knew what ships were. Like, I never cared for Sonic and Amy or Sonic and Shadow completely, but I saw Rouge and Knuckles and little 5yo me said "I like those two together". Or, something like that, more 5yo-ish.
