Coming here for today's announcement. Charles Martinet has sadly stepped down from the role as all of our favorite plumbers in colored hats. The characters of the mario world will truly never be the same without him. I came here specifically because of how I remembered the lyrics. It feels like a sendoff and a gigantic thank you towards charles for making these characters come to life. Even though this was uploaded years before his department.

Thank you Garrett for making this beautiful song and thank you Charles for the 3 decades of absolute bliss. You're still our 1-up guy, even when you're not playing the characters anymore.

Holy shit. Here's me, trying to hold my tears. I just remembered when I got an N64, and all I ever did was play Mario 64, and Banjo Tooie. I saw my old self in the child, and I started thinking how I'm never going to experience what I did back then. This was a fantastic video.

I think this song encapsulates how we all felt with the original Song and the Traditional Festival. Those that played the Donkey Kong arcade game and have had Mario as a mainstay in their gaming for decades, can really relate to this song and the Traditional Festival was a pure celebration of all of that and the impact Nintendo has had for over a quarter century now.
