Did you see the Cardinal team picture where Uecker and Bob Gibson are smiling broadly and if you look closer you see they are holding hands? You know Uecker said "Hey Gibby, let's hold hands like we are a couple."

Warren Spahn is a legend.. Most wins by a left hander, nost wins in the live ball era, 363.. 382 complete games. He did win his first game until he was 25 as he was fighting in WWll.

When did the Red Sox play the Braves in the regular season back then?

Gowdy was the Red Sox broadcaster in the 60's.

Uecker could also catch the knuckle ball.

I’m confused. It appears the Braves and Red Sox are playing a May exhibition game watching this clip. Is that right?

Was that Hank Aaron at the start of the video? Wow, Aaron to Spahn to Ueuker. Must have been great to catch Spahn, who could throw the ball exactly where he wanted it, as shown here. Exactly on the inside corner. Hey where can we see the full game broadcast? I’ve watched Red Sox games from 1967-70 on YouTube before, if not segments of them. Saw the Sox play the Senators at RFK, which was my childhood. And those small crowds back then!!

What game was this? No inter-league, so clearly an exhibition bringing the Braves back to their original home.
