Now I must tell you that despite me being a smoker some 55+ years I've never grown primarily because it simply wasn't legal, but the laws have changed so I'm on my first time. One plant of lemon haze (a clone) given to me. So I've watched a million videos, most far more technical than I want or need, however yours seem geared and relate far more towards the beginner and I've found the little things, like watering and letting the plant tell me what's going on valuable. So here I am about 3 weeks from sending into flower and hoping for the best from this healthy looking plant. Thanks for your efforts.

Been culturing my own lactic acid bacteria (lactobacillus) for the last three years, and the results speak for themselves! Increased trichomes are clearly noticeable, and you have the added benefit of the lactobacillus protecting your plants against "bad" bacteria... Have barely had mold issues in years! Simply spray the foliage (top and undersides of leaves, as well as the stems... Along with adding to the soil, of course! 👌🏻

The biggest key, to increasing tricrome production. First.. make sure you using (top shelf) genetics.
It's a must..
Second ...you need opitumn growing/flowering conditions. This means
No down time, no nutrient uptake issues, and little to no stress while growing. The first thing you notice when mistakes happen in flowering is yield, second is tricrome production...
So.... no mistakes while flowering = higher yields and increased potency..
Longer and cooler nights can hasten ripening. Genetics is the biggest key to heavy resin production.

My biggest lesson is to find what it likes then let it do its thing. I cant believe how fast my girl is growing right now! Ive stumbled on issues in the past where it just does not grow but overwatering was my issue then.

I just harvested Serious 6 and the trichomes go a magenta in colour and pistils, can't wait to get it dry and cured. Great vid mate

Good info, pruning should be enough stress during flowering, I get a handful of leaves every day from every plant, I have been let down many times by flowers that were covered in trichs, for me the louder the smell the better the flower !

Your spot on, I can't help but feel that Sun would give extra trichomes due to UV and the outside conditions pushing defensive trichomes

Trichomes protect the plant from insects, humidity, animals... increase trichomes by using more light, lower humidity to 30% for last week and keep plants in dark for last 48 hours .. always works for me!
