Paper bag drying is the best! Never gets any mold and I swear by this method...also when trimming rotate your scissors...when one pair gets too sticky...soak in a glass of 90 proof rubbing alcohol for about 10 minutes then wipe clean...also final trimming in an art to create beautiful buds...God bless and best of luck to all!!!

Thank you 🙏🏼 I prefer dry trim because my first trim experience was messy wet. Personally, dry trim is where it’s at…. totally worked better for me👍🏼

Potency comes from the stage of the Trichomes right. Clear, Milky, Amber, By the time one is Drying, Trimming, The plant is as potent as it can get. The only way for a plant to lose potency is to lose Trichomes. Trichomes stick to wet plant and vibrate off dry plant. I try to handle dry bud as little as possible. Hold the stem "Don't Paw The Budd's" Once it's dry the only time you touch it is when smoking it.

I'm a first time grower and and I love that gunk I get when I wet trim. It reminds me of how pine sap feels on my hands after working with pine. I scrape it off my scissors and make a little ball. Thanks for the vid!

Excellent video! I harvested White Widow and after a slow dry it smoked excellent. One month later suddenly flavors POPPED out in a big way what a big difference in a one month cure. I have some Blue Dream over 6 months cured and flavors definitely increased. Curing matters. Slow dry matters.
Thanks 420 Scene for another excellent video. Lots of discussions here!
I prefer waiting until cured a few weeks & burped before adding Bovda pack.
I prefer 58% humidity on Bovda packs.

Always a slow dry preserves terps. 60° and 60% is optimal for 14-16 days. I give or take 5° or 5%.

I agree with you 100 %, dry trimming definitely preserves the taste and flavor !!!

The problem with those humidity packs, is it robs your Terps, for me that's what happened the last couple of harvests .

iv'e had some big flowers get bud rot. its not fun so pro tip on keeping humidity down a bit for them. also a lot of people say when the stem snaps its ready to trim but if u ask me u should be watching the buds as that's what u are trying to cure. stems like u said can very in size a lot and don't dry the same speed and the bud size matters a lot too. happy growing

Great video! One thing that would help the noobs is to mention when the flowers are ready to put in jars or w.e. I normaly wait till the stems will break off with little effort. Not sure if that is the best way but thats what I do. Thanks bro

You definitely nailed it. This is my first time Grill two plants gorilla glue for feminized germinated them April 13th 2024, planted seedlings April 16, 2024 one plant I already cropped out it was in the sun more towards the evening by two hours, but the other one is in mid flower right now so four months strong and the one plant you know I just watched the videos so I hung it in the closet but the closet is 75° all the time and I don’t think I let it dry correctly too quick because I’m in a rush, etc., etc. and just like you said, I took all this time to grow this beautiful girl and for it not to taste killer it gets me stoned for a long time, but the taste is not there so I don’t wanna make the second mistake on the next plant which should be done in about a month so thank you for your genuine knowledge and concern and common sense which I lack but with your videos you’re definitely helping

Great Chanel and great info! Thanks man!
First grow last season…started from seed indoors and grown outdoors. Just wanted to add this.
After I burped my jars and was satisfied that it was stabilized, I sealed them with a vacuum sealer. I made a vacuum chamber out of pvc pipe and hooked the vacuum sealer tube to it. My harvest is vacuum sealed🙂 I don’t know if this is right or wrong but it’s certainly working. Great smell, smooth and potent. Thanks again for some great info!

A light wet trim on the huge leaves and then after like 12-14 days hanging (drying) I dry trim fully.

I harvested yesterday and have mine on a cane rack in the dark with a ceiling fan on low, but the rains have just started here over in Western Australia, then into the mason jars to be cured with rh 62% packs

I like to cut the branches with the colas off as they are when harvesting and then leave most if not all of the fan leaves at first
hang dry for 5-7 days in a dark lightproof tent at 50%-55% humidity, I like to keep it on the humid side so I get the nice slow and even drying so sometimes it can take a little longer than 7 but it really shouldn't be much longer than that, maybe 10-12
I like to keep a fan running in the tent with it, not pointed at the branches just circulating the air
Then after the stem hardens up a little I take them down and trim off all the leaves and stems, throw them in a lightproof airtight jar, and close them up
every once in a while open the jar and take a sniff, if it smells beautiful close it back up and leave it but at the first hint of a different smell, turn the buds over in the jar a little bit and air out for 15-20 minutes
after a week or 2 of that I just leave them in the jar and air the jar out either every time I go to use it or one every 2-3 days

Here's what I do and it's 60-60 temps and rh - to the best of your ability. Trim all fan leaves off and hang DRY. (My last run hung for 15 days) Heat destroys terps. That's a fact! Then hand trim, or machine trim, or like me use the trim bag. (Lazy)YES! Then I place in a 5gal bucket or tote for upto 45 days. Then in glass jars and or up in smoke.
Thanks for the video my dude 😎
