Toyota cooked? Then list all the major US automakers that will roast along with it. These Chinese cars look fancy, all the bells and whistles for a low price, but production is highly SUBSIDIZED by the Chinese government. That is a major factor in the final cost of the vehicles. How reliable are they? Toyota is light years ahead of the industry in both the build quality and reliability departments.

People here saying Toyota is the best. I agree they are the best. Most reliable engine most reliable transmission. All complicated engineering feats. But these Chinese cars are basically ipad on a washing machine. Not as complicated as a Toyota hybrid engine.

IDC if BYD makes a deal with Trump to bring production of it's EV's here. Fact is, Toyota has a huge loyal fan club and here in America where EV infrastructure is struggling and long queqes at the stations won't change anyone minds to jump in all EV at once. Besides that, Elon won't allow it.
