I been using armor all on all my modern cars, some I owned for a decade, no issues with armor all and I clean my car’s interior every two week’s usually

back in 1983 my brother and I each bought 1983 Toyota 4x4 pickup trucks I always put armor all on my dash and interior and my brother did not and just wiped it down once in a while with various cleaners now 40 yrs later my dash is still smooth soft and nice and black . my brothers dash started cracking many many yrs ago and now sits in his back yard rusting all apart . mine has been garage kept for many many yrs now and is still in great condition and I have been offered crazy amounts of money for it . armor all works well but the main thing is covering your vehicles up and take care of them and they will be worth many times what you paid for them

I think art of the dislike is that tastes have changed and people don’t want shiny interiors anymore. You are right on the older cars- automotive plastic and vinyl has gotten loads better since the 60’s-80’s about cracking.

Old cars that have cracked dashes was due to the type of foam used inside the dash it expanded / broke down over time. This charged in late 80s/90s so cracking now is all but gone.

I used it for yrs on my 2003 Honda Civic even when the car was new & no issues whatsoever. And yes some of us do like shiny & glossy interiors.

Been using it for decades with no issues. It’s great on exterior and interior. I’m using the matt finish these days on the interior, it’s not actually matt it’s a lowsheen gloss.

It does not cause the issues people claim, those issues are just issues related to the vehicles themselves.

A mistake some people make is they don’t buff it off after a few minutes.

On exteriors don’t get it wet for a full day to allow it to cure off.

I have used for 22 years on my 2003 Dodge Ram, inside and on tonnu cover. No issues!

I used Armor All protectant when it became available in South Australia 🇦🇺 and I blessed the makers every time I used it.
There was nothing like it at all on the market and it was awesome on my Valiant's Vinyl Roof.
I never had a problem with it until I used it on a very old be Type 3 which I bought from a deceased estate (lady owner). After I applied the Armor All Protectant the dash padding cracked.
There are times where I still use it and there is always some at home.
I have also purchased some Matt Finish Protectant for the interior but have yet to try it.
I found that Paint Shops don't like it and claim that Silicone drops fly around in the air and cause pin holes in the paint.

There used to be a great one in a green bottle called 2001 protectant, heard it was good stuff, haven't seen it in years.My 2nd job growing up cleaning carpets the boss used it on all the companies rubber and plastics they stayed looking great.

I used armor all for my dash board, wheels and leather seats during 5 years in my 2018 model car and never had any problem

older cars have cracked plastic parts wow LOL what a surprise. Like the gentle, an in the videos says there is not evidence that armor all hurts plastic. A lot of people have gotten great results and a lot mostly complain about greasy feeling and dust.

Armor all used to belong to a different company. Now it is owned by energizer and the quality and formulas have gone down

I have sprayed armour all on car door hinges to stop The squeek and do The check strap for noise

bought a sm bottle ten yrs ago, still 2/3s remain, even when bought new from walgreens, the stuff no longer leaves a shone like new finish.damn stuff.they changed the formula

The chemical molecular bonding looks more uniform & patterned in D4 (the further from & more radical bonds apparently means more destructive & toxic).
