ArmorAll Headlight Restoration Wipes Review

This is a review of ArmorAll headlight, restoration wipes. In this video, I use the armor all headlight restoration wipes to fix the hazy. Headlights on my Toyota Prius car. Plastic car headlights get hazy over time, and they turn yellow and become much less efficient. Instead of buying new headlights, you can do headlight restoration with various products from the auto parts store. One of the simplest and quickest headlight restoration products is the ArmorAll headlight restoration wipes. In this video, I use the ArmorAll headlight, restoration wipes on my car headlights and show you the results. I have found that these work on headlights that are lightly hazy and a little bit yellow, but if you have deep damage, you will need to buy a different brand of headlight restoration kit that has some sandpaper in it. Overall, after using these ArmorAll headlight restoration wipes on my Toyota Prius, it looks much better than it did before, but it’s not perfect.
Here is where to get ArmorAll Headlight Restoration Wipes.
Here is where to get the turtle wax headlight restoration kit.

i used this kit 2 days ago and learned the following (not mentioned in the video): 1) really try to use this product in the cool shade if possible. the Step 1 wipes dry out very quickly as you're using them. in the sun, even worse. fold and re-fold until the wipe drys out. 2) the second Step 1 wipe is really the difference maker. press hard, get the lenses completely clear. 3) after the Step 2 wipes, dry the lenses in the shade if possible. great late afternoon project. in my case, honestly, the lenses came out a bit better than they did in this video. this product really does work! literally 20 mins of time too! only drawback, probably will have to do this once a year if you want beautiful lenses. so US$18 per year.

Not bad, but you could have gotten better results. The instructions say to tape off the light so you don't accidentally get the step 1 material on your painted finish near the lights. It also allows you to be more aggressive. Then, for step two, you're supposed to only move in one direction, not back and forth. Moving back and forth will create some more cloudiness. You also only need to use one step two pad for BOTH headlights. If you have streakiness after it dries, you can use the other step two pad to fill in the rest.

Ive just bought the auto glym kit with the sanding/polishing pads, drill attatchment and wax.

Gonna hit the headlight with those first. Then once its all done. Use the 2nd part of this kit to restore rhe UV protection. Got 3 cars to do tomorrow. Fingers croseed it works

I was too lazy to buy these types of products but I'm going to be honest with you, I bought this product right now and I did it to my car and they truly looked like new,

The last kit I used was the 3m ultra headlight kit that you use a drill for and that is the kit I'd recommend. It's worth it and if done right, the headlights look brand spanking new. I have used Visbella before and that one worked great but the last step if done wrong destroys your headlights. The last step in the 3m kit is way easier.

Maybe start with the Plast-X liquid, then this kit. I also put car wax on the headlights so they stay clear longer.

Can this be used on fairly new headlights too?

Out of all the headlight restoration videos I have seen, the ones that work best are sanding. What was the price of this kit

Does this work on peeling headlights ???

Used it on my 2008 bmw 328 and it whitened them, but left them cloudy. Basically just removed the yellowing. And not even all that well.

The last one I used was the drill/sanding/buffing type and it worked well

I got some brand new lights on my 2011 Dodge Nitro, and all I did was take the UV protection Sealant wipe (Wipe #2) and applied it. It ruined the lights. Left them streaky and overall ugly. I managed to get lucky and use rubbing alcohol and stripped it all off. From there, I just waxed them. I learned my lesson; these types of products do more harm than good. I'm just going to always wax my headlights from now on. Other than that, Armor All as a company is great. I just wouldn't use this product again
