How I develop tertiary structure in my Japanese Larch Bonsai - 2nd Pruning cycle.

This week we start the 2nd cycle of Japanese Larch pruning. The ‘Old Man’ is a well-established bonsai that I began in 2002. Lots of tertiary branching to sort and a few plans for the future to discuss. Then we move on to my Cloud Larch development. Nice trees mate. That second one is very graceful which isn't necessary how I think about larches but it works.

Mine never stop putting out new growth… I’ve just had to tidy them up again, for at least the third time this year.
