I'm happy with the outcome. GUNTHER deserves to break that record. And yes Chad also deserves to have that championship, but after this, both men come out better. GUNTHER more powerful than ever, the longest reigning intercontinental champion. And Chad switches gears and makes his character more serious, taking him to the next level of athlet/performer. He will definitely take that championship and will mean even more next time.

I could watch a Gunther vs Gable match every week and not be disappointed they're both amazing in the ring. I would love for this feud to continue building in the background while they build Gable as a more serious competitor instead of a comedic wrestler. He's extremely charismatic and Gunther is such a great "Goliath" type of wrestler, I'm going to love Gables journey to getting that rematch and winning on a huge stage like the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. A great 15+ minute match would be absolutely beautiful.
