The match proved 2 things: Gunther needs a world title run and chad gable needs a singles title in general. Both are too good to be where they are currently and I’m glad to see both getting the recognition they deserve.

This feud is perfect. Both Gable and Gunther have some of best in Ring work on Raw and their gimmicks are perfect. Gunther the straight laced serious ring general and Gable the over the top goofy Olympian. They even have a David V Goliath thing going on with their size difference and that is NOT a knock to Gable. I legit almost got emotional at that ending. I was there live as a 16 year old kid watching Chad Gable win the NXT Tag Titles at NXT Takeover in one of the greatest matches I've seen in my life. Since then it's been so sad to see WWE make a complete joke out of him. This stuff though is great. He can still keep the shoosh and the thank you and all of that as long as he's still being presented like the incredible athlete that he is.
