CentOS 7 Install Tutorial (Linux Beginners Guide)

A tutorial for how to install CentOS 7 for beginners. Easily run through the steps required to successfully install CentOS on a system of your choice.

In order to install CentOS you’ll need to make sure to create a bootable disc or usb first. You can do this by downloading a CentOS image from CentOS.org and scrolling through their downloads section and for more information about creating bootable disc please check out some of my other videos

CentOS is based off Red Hat Enterprise Linux and is great for use in IT because you can deploy and manage your servers more easily without the worry of massive changes between updates because they occur less frequently and remain stable for longer.

Thank you Nik. I installed CentOS 7 on an older PC. Rushed through the install, and didn't understand the Gnome desktop, so only have the command line. Don't mind the Command line, but would like to have all the Desktop and office stuff. I'll re-install it and include Gnome, Office, Development tools, and Admin tools. Thank you again. Do you have another tutorial on CentOS7?
