Transferring a 'maximum security' prisoner into a 'medium security' prison is exactly how my cousin was murdered in a medium security prison by a maximum security murderer who was transferred there. My cousin, would have been released within 4 short months had he not died in prison. R.I.P. J.D. died in drumheller prison at the end of last millenium.

The focus and rage should be on and against the system not the criminal and the victims in this one case, the penal and parole system allow for the inmate transfer reclassification and release, because they paid(?) their debt to society by virtue of their sentence and incarcerated behaviour. Sick criminals are let out every day to no fanfare! Plea bargaining should be banned.
