Very nice well-thought-out and executed Lego toys (scale models if you like) except they were not designed to travel! Or they would've assembled the wheels on splines and bearings instead of push-fit axles...that is where the weakness was! Also at (I estimate) 1/10th scale: 8mph is 80mph and 13mph is 130 mph!! (scale speed) which is very very fast for big lorries anyway!

The truck is like 1, 4m long so he travels 3 times his length in a second

Real life truck:
And average truck is 18, 75m long
So if we want to know how fast it would be if it also travels 3 times his length in a second we multiply the length with 3:

18, 75m x 3 = 56, 25m

So we now know that the truck would travel 56, 25m a second if he also traveled with 3 times his length a second (like the Lego truck)
