NYC in a Tesla? Brings Out the Snitch in Everyone I Guess...

Why do people hate Tesla's so much? First time ever in New York City and I received a hefty parking ticket on my Tesla. After reviewing Sentry Mode footage, I was able to see why this really happened.

Can they even do anything if you dont pay? Florida dmv will most likely keep letting you register your car right?

When I first moved to NY from FL I had a 1 plate FL license for almost a year. Never had an issue. This guy obviously dosent have a clue what he's doing there was nothing illegal about your car. Zero. FYI if you are parking for any decent amount of time in NYC always better to just bite the bullet and get a garage so you don't have to worry about crap like this.

Damn. I live in a state that requires front plates and I’ve gone two years now without one and still haven’t gotten a ticket.

Completely ridiculous for them to ticket you for no front plate when your state doesn't have one. Fight it BTG!!

Yeah they forgot Tesla owners are better than everyone else and they can park in no parking zones.
