Love the information but I am wearied by some of these hair videos because of how it makes people feel if their hair is not as dense as others. Just love your hair and take care of it, sparse or dense.

I wish I had a dense head of hair :(

And I wish my curl pattern was evenly defined everywhere

My curl pattern is super tight on the front of my head and in the back it’s very loose.. it’s frustrating it feels like I have 2 different densities

The back and sides of my head feels like there’s very little hair and in the front and top of my head it feels like I have a lot of hair

Any tips for people with fine, highly dense hair? It's hard to find things specifically catered to this type.

One ponytail for me is larger than a quarter but when I wear two strain twist my scalp shows alot. When I do bantu knots and do big pieces of hair the knots are tiny and dont fill the box like I see with other ppl. The root and the shaft of my hair is the same thickness so it's not due to damage. I be out here looking like Coolio with 2 strain twist unless I blowdry my hair then my hair looks fuller. I consider myself low-medium density I don't know. Maybe I need to try the test again 🤷🏾‍♀️

This tip works, but what about people with short highly dense hair how would they test their hair density?

I think I have middle to thick density

You mix up volume and density.
You may then have a big ponytail even if you have poor density.
The first part of the video is about actual density.
The second part is about density.

Can you lose hair density? I know that one year ago my hair has been a lot denser. My scalp never showed in twist but now it does and my hair has become super fin .
