Great tip! It's super important for sub frequencies to have space - especially through big PA systems. Gives the drivers time to reset and provide impact. This simple concept can get get overlooked when trying to create "massive' EDM tracks, for example.

This gave me an idea - it could be fun to try making a rhytm (well technically anti-rhytm, I suppose ) by inversing the silence and sound roles "negative space" ish so that the sound takes the role of silence and vice versa.

A bit kinda like sidechain but without any sound in the gaps at all and a more sudden/instant 1/0 gate cut like you are doing here by slicing out the audio completely.
