Epic Mickey Rebrushed Demo Spinning Cup Ride Chest!

I found out that if you do a couple of hard jumps, even you fix the gremlin’s ride using paint on the pump you can access the chest on the top which you would normally have to destroy the ride for!
Is this intentional??
