You can get new Luffy sitting cross legged, the legs plug into the shorts with a ball joint so it can swivel. It does mean the knees dont line up with the coutouts but it still works and looks fine.

the old Luffy figuarts was one of my first figures, way back in the day. I've wanted an updated figure for years, and been disappointed when they kept making post-timeskip ones. It's weird how the new one has better arms, but worse legs? And personally I prefer the open-vest look, but in general the new one has better aesthetics. Still love the old one, though.

my dream would be if they made an Enies Lobby version using this new mold, and fixed the legs!

I bought the original one used a while back and ngl idk if I just got a bad copy but it just feels so frail compared to the new one. Even compared to early DB Figuarts it feels really flimsy to me so I’m really happy with the new one
