they did Bahamut so dirty with that card, had an opportunity to make him a powerhouse like tiamat and fucking botched it

I have a soft spot for Tibalt. I had him early on the field as other players were focused on me. I kept plussing him and no one paid close attention, often discarding lands to get more value.

When my turn came around, the other players had a lot of creatures out, and I used his ult to swing at the players having war with each other, growing their armies for me to use against them.

Is it gonna happen often? No. But the fact I've done it once while everyone else was distracted means I have a soft spot for the 2 mana Planeswalker.

He sucks, but I love him.

Karn is surprising in artifact deck. He is going under the radar and ramping you with powerstones. I got to it's ultimate multiple times

Karn is actually pretty sweet, I run him in my baby urza deck and everyone ignores him, his ultimate ends games with an unwinding clock and just always kills your opponent's threats at instant speed

Ob Nixilis at least has the argument of consistently being available to cast here. Most of the planeswalkers that can be commanders aren’t the greatest, but at least Ob Nix has the “I can get you some life back and you can cast me like turn 3 with K’rrik.”

Tbh it could of been cool if general master of flowers had a card that could have any number of it in a deck so the tutor could be useful

Karn living legacy is so freaking good.

I use Karn in my police deck. Being able to make a Powerstone each turn is unassuming enough for him to be left alone. If he does get attacked it's usually just to stop his ultimate which i honestly never used.
But having an unwinding clock and lots of abilities with Powerstone getting to untap each turn is great.

I was so mad when that Bahamut got spoiled it just means I'll have to wait till final fantasy to make a bahamut commander deck

I don't think ob nixilis is that terrible if you pair him with another card that drains people when you gain life like enduring tenacity. If you have Bloodletter of Aclozotz out as well, that would make him even more powerful.

I love Karn for my artifact deck because I can churn out so many powerstones usually which pairs really well with unwinding clock and Liberator, Urza's Battlethopter (my commander)

Jace, the Living Guildpack bounce not just a creature but a non-land permanent. Also the ultimate is very strong, leave opponents with no hands and you get +7 more cards.

In Jace's defense, his ultimate ability shuts down a reanimation deck ... like Liliana.

I will always love Tibalt because it is hilarious to leave him at 4 loyalty and use it is someone overdraws and get no hand size
