In this video I’ll be sharing some of the many great 3D shape nets that you can find on the twinkl website and some helpful information to guide you in teaching your child or class. The 'net' of a shape is a term used to describe what a 3D shape would look like if it was opened out and laid flat. A 3D shape can be made by folding up its net. You can use Twinkl's nets of shapes resources with your child or class to do just this. The fantastic thing about teaching 3D shapes is that they’re all around us.
