Great video. I assembled mine in Australia, whilst watching the video. No issues at all with any of the pieces. No sanding required as noted in the assembly manual. Fun. Thank you. Maybe in your next video you can have a camera shot from above and zoom in more to the screws in your hands. Waiting for my bees.

My girlfriend and I got a flow hive. We ordered it back in March of last year. We got it in December and just got our actual flow frames a couple weeks ago. I built my flow hive today. It came with all its parts and looks to be of a pretty good quality. This video was VERY helpful to my while assembling. I did have a few problems which I'll list here.
1. The dovetails didn't all watch up. I had to use a razor blade to shave down a few tails per board. It didn't take that long to fix.

2. No matter what I did I couldn't get the super square. I purchased clamps like the ones shown in the video, but after everything was glued and screwed it would go out of square. It doesn't seem like it is a big issue and the flow frames fit in it just fine. There is about a quarter inch gap on the side of the last flow frame and the inner wood of the side of the super.

Those are my only issues. Everything thing else worked out just fine. Looking forward to seeing the flow hive in action!

Wonderful video. Perfect!! I watched it as I put mine together on my laptop. No problems at all. My Amish neighbors raise bees and they will be babysitting mine until it is full of honey. Great video, thanks! Tony beat me to saying that Western Red Cedar is a softwood. But weirdly, Balsa Wood is technically a hard wood. And while I'm pointing out weird stuff, some conifers - Dawn Redwood & Swamp Cypress are deciduous....

I am very excited at the potential to have a Flow Hive here on my property as a beginner beekeeper.  I note that this video states Western Red Cedar is a hardwood and that is incorrect.  It is a conifer and therefore, known as a softwood.   I just find it interesting he states otherwise, though of course, it is a very durable softwood.
