Math 20-1 Unit 2 Lesson 4.2: Solving Quadratic Equations by Factoring

In this lesson, 4.2a and 4.2b are both covered. This includes using algebraic methods (factoring) to solve for x-intercepts, roots, or zeros (all synonymous).
In the first half, the different methods of factoring are highlighted. In the second half, the methods are applied to application problems.
