I've been a P.Eng. for 30 years and every time I do BM diagrams now, I remember the Van Halen force, John Denver, Mickey Mouse M, N, V and In The Kitchen. Your teaching methods are TRULY impressive and innovative. If there was a Grammy for teaching, you'd have several. Thank you for taking the time to do video presentations. Texas Tech has a Gem.

Wow great timing on this. Exam is in 3 hrs and this video was not on the playlist and the others didnt have the shear moment diagram. This is so helpful.

More video with beam examples are always welcome. Finding reactions and internal forces are always lacking diverse examples with clear explanation. Thx Doc.

Sir, I was a EE student, having a tough time with mechanics, when I found your lectures. I found them very helpful. Now I am a Site Engineer and everytime I play your lectures on YouTube, I become a student, trying to grasp new concept or revise the demonstrated problems. I sit with a pen and a paper solving it while you present it on the white board 😊. Thank you very much Sir.

Great video as always! 🔥
I have a wicked problem from my mechanics of materials final. It’d be great if you could solve it, no one in the class got it right.

I hope this means the solids book is coming along because I'm ready to buy it!

What I didn't understand in the backpack scenario was how to imagine 14 kips load dropping when there was just 7 kips on my backpack. Probably I dropped backpack itself too :D
