I came because I'm in the market for an audio mixer and I didn't know jack about the subject. I have a couple of small synths, Korg volcano percussion, Behringer CRAVE, and M-Audio Oxygen keyboard. Hi GregintheBox, I just bought this mixer for my wife who is wanting to potentially use it for a podcast, but the very first thing she wants to use it for is to lead meditations. That is, she wants to speak into a mic but also 1) mix in (and hear) background music and 2) hear the participants on the call. I think I found out how to do this: using 1/8 jack (from phone or other audio producing device) to RCA (line 3 and 4) but I was trying to make use of both USB stereo outputs to achieve this goal. So I am confused by your recommendation of selecting USB 3/4 as the output for the Zoom call (i.e. the participants) because USB 3/4 appears to be routed to the mix (along with the other inputs) but I am unable to monitor on the headphone output. Pointing my computer/Zoom to USB 1-2 allows me to hear the participants and the rest of the inputs.
In Summary: @ 19:10, you mention you can adjust the volume of your audience in zoom/headphones but it seems like USB 3-4 isn't routed to the headphone output. It is routed to the mix (i.e. back into the zoom call). I can play a youtube video and if I select USB 1-2, I hear it in my monitoring headphones but participants don't. If I select USB 3-4, participants hear the video, but I do not hear it.
Any help would be appreciated and thanks for this detailed video.
