Oh last thing, really love how you explain things because I am a “ plug and play” person and so it’s really helpful to have somebody like you because there are people that say they could teach but it doesn’t mean they’re a teacher you are definitely a teacher thank you

Thank you Greg for sharing! It is always so impressive to see people who, despite all their daily hassles, manage to find motivation and want to share their knowledge and experiences (take for granted that it's not just about money).

It doesn't matter whether the subject is of my interest or not, there is always something you can learn if it's well planned, structured, and presented.

You have the best tutorials on this because you go slow and speak clear with hands on demo.

I came because I'm in the market for an audio mixer and I didn't know jack about the subject. I have a couple of small synths, Korg volcano percussion, Behringer CRAVE, and M-Audio Oxygen keyboard. It was suggested that I look into getting an audio interface. Mackie was suggested to me so I jumped on to hear your evaluation. Super helpful, Greg.

Excellent video. I really like this method of explaining things. It's an audiovisual way that fits my brain better. It's also quick and just detailed enough.

One of the best DETAILED video I've ever seen. Wish all can do like this. I have the Mackie ProFX10V3 and I LOVE IT!!! But still have a lot to learn since it's my first time to use this kind of hardware for my Facebook live streaming. Keep it up mate!!!

Thank you for this! My ProFX6v3 arrived today, and the Mackie documentation wasn't very helpful to me. Your video walked me through step by step and answered all my questions. I"m going to check out your other videos too. Liked and subscribed, and SO grateful. (Mackie should hire you, because your explanations are way better than theirs. And, you are such a good musician too.)

Hi GregintheBox, I just bought this mixer for my wife who is wanting to potentially use it for a podcast, but the very first thing she wants to use it for is to lead meditations. That is, she wants to speak into a mic but also 1) mix in (and hear) background music and 2) hear the participants on the call. I think I found out how to do this: using 1/8 jack (from phone or other audio producing device) to RCA (line 3 and 4) but I was trying to make use of both USB stereo outputs to achieve this goal. So I am confused by your recommendation of selecting USB 3/4 as the output for the Zoom call (i.e. the participants) because USB 3/4 appears to be routed to the mix (along with the other inputs) but I am unable to monitor on the headphone output. Pointing my computer/Zoom to USB 1-2 allows me to hear the participants and the rest of the inputs.
In Summary: @ 19:10, you mention you can adjust the volume of your audience in zoom/headphones but it seems like USB 3-4 isn't routed to the headphone output. It is routed to the mix (i.e. back into the zoom call). I can play a youtube video and if I select USB 1-2, I hear it in my monitoring headphones but participants don't. If I select USB 3-4, participants hear the video, but I do not hear it.
Any help would be appreciated and thanks for this detailed video.
