That 2004 season was incredible. Thank you for bringing back the Bud 8. I had a tough time watching NASCAR for a few years when that car left the track.

I barely know how to put gas in my car. I’ve never been to a race. But, I never miss a Dale Jr download. Dale’s honesty, interest in other people’s talents and ideas, and reverence for the greats in the sport is awesome to hear!

Unsung hero. I think a lot of people, old school Nascar fans, would like to know more about the Eurys. Intriguing.

I am blessed to have worked for and with Pops. He was tough and didn't play any junk, but He was fair, and you could tell he cared about his people. I appreciate every conversation and interaction we had. Thanks Pops!

I think what gets me the most about Dale Jr is what a genuinely good person he is. He just seems like such a good guy

I'm so thankful that Dale brings in people who worked with his Dad and/or was friends with his Dad and he gets to learn things that he didn't pay as close attention to and it helps him fill the void of losing his Dad as a fairly young man himself and remembering stories he either didn't know or he was part of the story and wanted the other people involved sides of the stories of how they remembered them. It's a great thing Dale is doing and he also heals from the trauma of losing his Dad. Plus I'm sure the concussions may have clouded his memory some and this helps him tremendously. Either way, these stories are truly PRECIOUS PRICELESS TREASURED BLESSINGS AND MEMORIES FOREVER AND THEY NEED TO BE TOLD AND HEARD ESPECIALLY BY SOME OF THE YOUNG DRIVER'S THAT DON'T KNOW HOW HARD IT WAS TO RACE BACK WHEN RALPH WAS RACING IN THE 50'S WHICH IS WHEN I MET HIM AT THE OLD COLUMBIA SPEEDWAY IN CAYCE SOUTH CAROLINA EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT!!! ANYONE WHO WAS THE BEGINNERS IN NASCAR RACED AT THIS HISTORIC TRACK AND I MET EVERY DRIVER BECAUSE WE PARKED IN THE INFIELD AND WE WERE PARKED NEAR RALPH NUMEROUS TIMES ALONG WITH OTHER GREATS TINY LUND, LEE PETTY AND BUCK BAKER, CALE YARBROUGH, BOBBY AND DONNIE ALLISON, FIREBALL ROBERTS, HASKELL WILLINGHAM, SAM ARD, SAM SOMERS, BOBBY ISAAC, BUDDY BAKER, RICHARD PETTY, DAVID PEARSON AND SO MANY OTHERS. IT WAS AWESOME AND THE BEST SPORT ON THE PLANET 🏁🏆🏁 WE ALSO WENT TO DARLINGTON TWICE EVERY YEAR AND BACK THEN IN THE INFIELD YOU HAD EASY ACCESS TO ALL THE DRIVER'S AND CREW MEMBERS. NOT LIKE NOW, where you have to have connections to get near pit road and forget about meeting all the driver's!!! Not there's any driver I really want to meet except DaleJr. and Amy and Kelley 🏁🏆🏁

Once your uncle, ALWAYS your uncle. It's like steps, halfs, divorced, widoweds, deaths-and-remarrieds, family is what we define it.
Nice to see Pops again! ❤✌🌮

Can't help being touched by Dale's sincerity with those from his past who help lead him to be who he has become. He always gives credit to those involved in positive ways and is very willing to express his shortcomings. This is why he is so popular.

These conversations are what I love hearing as a long time Jr. fan. Loved the conversation with Eury Jr. last year and this one with Sr. definitely didn't disappoint. What those two guys did for Jr's career will never be truly understood. Love these. Thanks Jr for sharing

Dale you're something else. Im a 57 year old tough as nails and listening to you on this got me choked up a few times. I will say though that you're a tad hard on yourself when you say you were very lost when you started example wrecking that car on fourth lap. Didn't you win the championship your first year? Really? Your humble demeanor is incredibly rare especially for the tremendous success you well earned. July 2004 Daytona one of my top 3 favourite things ive seen.
You're awesome Dale. Really are.

I drove by DEI the other day and it definitely made me feel sad seeing that place all closed and locked up. It is such a beautiful facility to be sitting there with nothing going on. It used to be bustling and alive as the epicenter of one of NASCAR's growing powerhouse teams of the sport. It was an incredible time to be a race fan when these men, Dale Sr and others were in that place working trying to become the best. I love hearing these old stories and keeping those great memories alive!
