All the pedals have some slight distortion, while the Power Stack and the Metal Zone come tearing through like the fucking Kool-Aid Man.

ODB-3 with proper settings is great! To blend it fully to OD will make your bass sound just more artificial. In all kinds of drives and distortions less is more to keep your instruments characteristical sound and most of all the PUNCH OF YOUR BASS! :) I just baught the ODB-3 used for 40 bucks and it is stacked now the sansamp bassdriver DI and it is used as an extra dirt on top. Works great!

Mega Distortion was good for keeping the most low end. I liked the nasty grind of the Super Distortion. Power Stack was pretty strong too.

ODB-3 Is the king, but if you own LS-2 Line selector i think you can use pretty much anything. Metal zone with mids and parametric mids can be great on bass if u blend it with clean signal. Thanks for this amazing comparison.

I like Power stack for its power and heavy sound, but I also like Mega Distortion. I think it produces a much more cleaner sound...This is just my opinion though...

I'm actually pretty blown away by the Metal Core. It keeps a lot more of your bass's bottom end than the other pedals do.

I think the Power Stack was the pedal that had a pretty great sound on bass. Btw, what was that song during the intro clip?

I liked very much the result of SD-1, OD-3 and BC-2 on bass guitar. In special, SD-1.

For the riff, the only one that really works in the ODB3. DS1 sounded ok, ML-2 is a pedal i use so knew it would sound ok (that pedal had way too much gain though) and MT-2 sounds usable. Don't know what others are hearing in the power stack but sounds naff to me.

Miss the XT2 i discovered the capabilities playing guitar in drop C and I adopted when I switched to the bass

In my opinion, the heaviest is Power Stack- 1:13
But there are more metal genres and I prefer heavy metal

In my opinion the ds1 sounded the best, always been drawn to that pedal
