I owned each of these pedals at different times. The Super Overdrive was by far the most natural sounding and musical pedal.

Overdrive is gonna give you a classic rock sound, and distortion is gonna give you a more modern sound. You need both sounds if youre playing a variety of songs.

Overdrive is better, but i love me some distortion too.

I used to play guitar regularly. When I did i had that orange distortion pedal and I really liked it. I like it over the Overdrive pedal.

my DS-1 is my primary pedal. my ideal sound is that really low tone, max'd out distortion to achieve a really dense fuzzy kinda wall of noise. but its a really incredible pedal for way more than just that.

Lately I've been using both at the same time, but the overdrive one with the drive all the way down. You can get some interesting textures.
