This song from the movie takes me back to when I was a teen struggling with coming to terms with my sexuality. It was the first mainstream movie I had seen that dealt with the subject of homosexuality. I was very moved by the film. It made me for the first time feel okay about my sexuality. Also I thought Harry Hamlin was the most beautiful man I had ever seen. I remember walking out of the theater and thinking to myself “ Your probably gay. But that’s okay” I love this beautiful song. It takes me back to the days of innocence and youth.

I saw this classic movie 1982 Making Love at the Vogue Movie Theater at 8 p.m. in 1982 when the mainstream movie theaters stop showing this wonderful movie! I was born in 1978. My mother and I went to see it! I knew I was Gay at age 3! I am a white Christian Gay Male and a romantic! I love this beautiful classic song from the 1982 movie! I also own this beautiful classic song on 45 records and CDs! This beautiful song is brilliantly performed by the very pretty and very talented singer and performer Roberta Flack! I am still listening to this song, June 1, 2021. 'Making Love' was a great movie for the time period, 1982. Harry Hamlin was gorgeous in this movie and I had a big crush on him. Michael Ontkean was attractive as well. Michael is now 75 years old and Harry is currently 69 years old. I am glad they're still in the land of the living. Where did the time go? 😭
