My favorite use to be a Big Hunk candy bar. I grew up in the 50s.
I ate Baby Ruth, Butter Fingers & Paydays. I drank Coca Cola, Dr. Pepper & 7Up. I read comics books. Everything cost 5 to 10 cents. I collected empty pop bottles and sold them for 2 cents each. I'd buy 5 or 6 candy bars & 3 or 4 sodas. Buy a couple of comic books and sit outside in the shade by the store and enjoy an hour of bliss.
