I think the sub bending forms should be above their regular counterparts.

Lightning above fire, metal and lava above earth, blood above water. The only exception would be air, as I don’t think flight and spiritual projection are “more powerful”.

I would argue that energy bending is weaker though. Sure it has the niche use of taking someone’s bending away, but besides that we’ve only seen it used to redirect an energy beam.

I think Air bending should be higher than water for the simple fact that you can take air from a person's body i.e. what happened to the earth with water bending, you need to have water sources around.

Blood bending is basically right next to energy bending example when unalaq destroyed and controlled various characters spiritual bending and then out right controlling spirits and then on top of that amon taking away benders bending and not just any bender the avatar herself as well bloodbending is hands down the most powerful not many can counter it, but ofcourse it depends on the individual bender in my opinion every element can be just as dangerous as the next it comes down to the individual bender

Including corp, militia, resistance/freedom fighters, banelings, eternals, sisters of light and dark, Mord sith, witches and wizards (all order including Richard), the creatures that hunt in the shadows, the healing tribe that doesn't fight, etc.

Imo earthbending is most powerful. Can create earthquakes and manipulate the battlefield. Not to mention they're tanks. Earthbending is my favorite.

Blood bending is easily the most overpowered. You can't say energy bending is more powerful. It literally takes the avatar state or another powerful blood bender just to resist blood bending. If an energy bender who was not the avatar tried to fight a blood bender they would lose in 3 seconds
