One of the greatest horror films not only from the 1980's as a whole but of ALL-TIME too! I've never been able to understand wh this is so damn underrated. Brilliant cinematography, wonderful acting, intelligent direction and stylish but equally eerie visuals create an ultimately downright unforgettable experience. Amazing soundtrack too.

I actually enjoy this movie, I think it is a decent vampire gem despite its preoccupation with style, but of course Tony Scott had visual flair to the core. Though it would be hard for me to hate on a movie with a Sarandon/Deneuve sex scene.
