These were super fun facts. I especially like how this vampire movie never even mentions the word "vampire". Excellent work!

Now, that's awesome that she went all the way to Rome to get the right type of material for that role.

I saw this movie once long, long ago. But the scene you showed where David Bowie is an old man and is being carried up the elevator--in The Man Who Fell to Earth, there's a similar scene. Bowie collapses in an elevator and the hotel maid (or was she a waitress?) carries him to his room in her arms.

Two things occurred in this film that changed my perspective of the world forever: I met the Bauhaus and I saw two women kissing for the first time. I remember I was watching it with a cousin and I was super embarrassed and didn't even look around. 😂😂

Bowie and Deneuve keep each other at arm’s length throughout the film and it actually works for their vampire setting. Probably Bowie did out of respect rather than being intimidated considering she is much more experienced in acting.

Great facts! I really need to read the books. I enjoyed the unconnected television series.

I enjoyed this movie, but it still leaves me with unanswered questions. How is it that Miriam doesn’t ever age and the others do? Did Miriam actually die at the end? Did the Doctor become the new Miriam by supposedly killing her?

Thanks of the God of Vampires this movie deserves to be only one, sequels wouldn't surpass this underrated gem of cinema. I mean, it is enough nowadays with Twilight franchise, the most unispiring, dull, trashy-artsy, accessible "for the eyes" movies, "because it is easy to catch massive people when they eat a cake of generic taste", The Hunger is more appreciated for connoisseur's of good art.

You still don't say why Bowie's character started aging

A lot of this is old graffiti.
No mention of Sarandon (who openly admits to) sleeping with David around this time.
Thank you for not mentioning, "The disco band." Ha!

I have never read the book, but have been told it has a different ending from the movie! Can anyone tell me how the book ends?

Here’s a fact NOBODY knows ☝🏽
The opening scene which the band Bauhaus performs was filmed at famous London gay club The G-A-Y & was shot in one day. I was born 5days later just down the street....🤨
Nobody knows, coz nobody cares 😆
