Bugs are one thing but I can't even launch the game & i've already spent an hour researching a fix for it. Stop releasing titles that aren't ready for prime time, Activision.

It's not a system issue, it's the game. Reddit users have determined it's the game code allowing the RAM to be 100% utilised/exceeded at a random moment causing the crash.

Ok guys, I had the Fatal Exception error code: 1536080526 & just spent about 2 hrs today trying every suggestion in various videos and none of them helped. I ended up figuring it out on my own though. The problem was that my "Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War" folder installed in the wrong place & was sitting inside of my "Modern Warfare 2 Remastered" folder. So I moved it back to C: Program Files (x86) & now the game launches perfectly. So make sure to check it's location.

So I played this game for a couple days just fine, but it was a little choppy and laggy and terrible loading time, but I never had a fatal error. However, I decided to upgrade my PC by adding 16GB of RAM, a SSD, and changed some BIOS setting since i only had 8GB of RAM and a 1TB HDD prior. But that when i started getting the Fatal Error mentioned in video. After backtracking by reverting setting and removing new hardware one at a time, I eventually found out it was the BIOS setting I change, which was "GAME BOOST". I'm not a PC guy, after all my PC is prebuilt CyberPOWER from BEST-BUY back in 2016, but according to MSI; "GAME BOOST" overclock my CPU a bit. Regardless, after turning it off I played all day without a single Fatal Error on Multiplayer and Zombies and the game played better than error with RAM and SSD upgrade.
PC Specs:B350M BAZOOKA(MB), AMD Ryzen 5 1600 6-Core(CPU), Raedon RX 580 Series(GPU), 16GB RAM(Corsair Vengeance 8GB x2), VCore:1.344V, DDR Volts: 1.200V
CPU Speed: 3.20Ghz( was like 3.40Ghz with "GAME BOOST"), and DDR Speed: 2133Mhz.
I never touch my In-game setting on than 144hz monitor refresh rate. So I hope this helps.

I was able to play this all weekend and yesterday and now my entire computer restarts now when I try to play. I get to the menu and it just restarts. I've been troubleshooting for two hours. I give up, I'm going to bed.

I Re-Installed My Nvidia Drivers Without Shadow Play As Well GeForce Overlay.
Game Works 100% Fine.

I was playing campaign and it would kick me out the game and give me the fatal error code at the same exact spot in it. All I did was set my graphics lower than where I had it at and it solved the issue. I’m still gonna try this cause I would like my graphics to be alittle higher.

Guys I've just found out restarting don't matter. Just have the xbox sidebar ready whilst loading up. I'm gonna put this on multiple videos. Hope this helps.
