I did everything as you did until 12:42, But in my Installation Progress I got this message:
"Waiting for CCMExec to be fully operational" and after waiting it to finish nothing happened.
btw, I am trying to capture windows that was on a domain and that had sccm client installed, because I prepared that machine completly through sccm (all the necessary applications and updates).

Can this be used to clone a computer (copying all user profile, bookmarks, files, email ost file, etc) and keep that on sccm or extraneous drive
as a backup?

I am unable to reach the domain network share from the workgroup computer as you did. Each time I try to access \\novelty-dc01\images I get an error that I’m spelling it incorrectly. I could use a point in the right direction.
