I used this while passing information on about a tornado warning in our neighborhood. "You're not a meteorologist!", someone said. "No, but i slept in a Holiday Inn Express last night."

Everyone took cover, and the tornado passed about 1000 feet away from us -- loud enough to hear the roar.

There are only three series of commercials I remember over the past thirty years or so. This series on Holiday Inn Express, The Geico car insurance commercials where squirrels get people to crash and then high-five and fist-bump each other, and the recent Liberty car insurance commercial where the guy thinks he's buying a hot dog but the vendor is selling wet teddy bears. Truly brilliant commercials.

I worked at a theme park and had a woman strapped in and ready to go on a roller coaster. She said in a meek little voice, "Sir, Uhhm, Sir... Is this thing safe?" To which I replied, "I don't know... But I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night."
