Lining Long Lake Dam - Allagash Wilderness Waterway

Lining canoes over the washed-out log driving dam at the end of Long Lake on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway. We never run this section because of the numerous metal spikes that move each year when the ice goes out. Instead we line it; tie a rope that pulls from under the canoe to lower it down under control.
