For clear silicone caulking I have found if you twirl up a long run of toilet paper, put it in the corner, spray the tilex or bleach/water mixture onto it the toilet paper and let sit for a couple days it takes the mold out. Only a somewhat temporary solution (a few months) but beats removing the silicone

My tub is caulked. I used the tilex and was COMPLETELY blown away. I was ready to rip it all out and regrout(recaulk) my friend insisted it works. What I didn't know is that it had to be done a few times and voila! But what I would like to know is, is there a sealant that goes on top of the caulking? Because everything I've seen that says sealant is actually the white stuff. This could not be taken off with just a brush. It had to be soaked three or four times and it came out.

I'm going to try that tilex mold and mildew cleaner, but I'm a little confused as to why a hand held steamer and baking soda/bleach mix provided little help for me previously. I'll give it one more try with your recommendation before calling a professional.

Right.... I only do this on a day that's not extreme cold or hot where you can open the windows. Never a day when you can't...I turn the window fan on...and this is the exact product I use too and I agree it's the best but it's strong so definitely ventilation... You don't want those fumes trapped in your house.

Black mold on ceiling above the shower? How can we clean that up. New home as of 6 months… no mold prior to inspection. It’s toxic I’m pretty sure.
