Good for a small garden. If you live out in the country, tho. just save a lot of time and buy a Japanese beetle trap and set it up at least 50 feet away from your garden. I did it this year, and I can tell you there's something satisfying about draining a bucket with hundreds and hundreds of drowned beetles in it on a daily basis for a couple of weeks.

WASP SPRAY KILLS THEM INSTANTLY! I get thousands of them on my woodbine. I tried the bag traps but they attract the beetles from the entire neighborhood. Spray at the first sign and they can't lay eggs. I had to spray twice last summer.
