Thank you so much for taking his symptoms seriously! They often try to hide their pain/discomfort for as long as possible. When they can’t anymore, they’ve gotten really bad.

I once paid $512 for the vet to remove a three-foot-long shoelace from a cat. Everyone at work thought I was crazy to spend that much money on a pet, but I told them that my young children didn't understand money. You do what you have to.

We all realize that medical resources are needed for humans too of course and some might see this kind of intervention as extravagant. But we love our pets like we love our own children, and even though their lives are short, they bring us so much joy that they are central to our own happiness and quality of life.

ALWAYS trust your gut/instincts!!!! And thank goodness she did. Thank you for NOT giving up on him as honestly most people would NOT of spent the $$ to save their pet (I would of!!). May darling sweet Murphy have many many years with you happy & healthy!!!
