These in studio face to face sessions are always the best.

This is probably one of the best I’ve heard ever. Well done Dave and Jack. No spin. History. Courage

I started listening to this by mistake, it auto-played at the end of something else. Now I'm close to 40 minutes in and I'm hooked! I don't even know what half of these acronyms mean, doesn't matter! This guy can tell a story!

If anyone watching this is not familar with the Mazar e sharif / Qala i Jangi prison uprising in Afghanistan in 2001, I'd recommend searching YT for the 50-minute documentary "battle of qala i jangi 2001" and watching that first. It will give you some really good background on what the guest is talking about, including footage of the event.

Fascinating story. Glad it’s up on YouTube for future generations to listen to this fascinating slice of history.

Oddly enough Justin came to speak to my college class on Afghanistan a few years ago when he was at the War College in Newport. Super nice guy.

Jack/Dave, it would be awesome if you could invite Brad Thomas, former Ranger/Delta Force operator, who’s was in Mogadishu at the very time of Black Hawk Down. And who’s an accomplished musician with his own rock band made up of veterans. A very nice gentleman.

Justin's diction, delivery, word choice... as good as it gets in this context.

Seeing the doco and hearing Justin Sapp’s version of events of his time there was amazing. I really like this series interviewing the guys of Team Alpha.

It’s crazy I fell asleep watching a newer episode and woke up to this one. I’ve watched it before but the second time was even better. I’ve read about and looked up to Justin and just love hearing his story. Great episode I swear I could watch it again and enjoy it.

Just wanted to thank you guys for all the content you all put out. I've gotten through Civil Affairs Selection and am in the process of going through their pipeline as a CA Officer. All the episodes you all put out are great, but I really feel the ones you all have with officers should be required listening for military officers. Both of your perspectives as NCOs and the officers you have on here really give great insight into the relationship officers should aspire to have with their NCOs and junior enlisted. All these episodes pump me up and I believe they are helping to educate future service members. Thanks again and I can't wait for the next episodes!

As a Georgian; I’m proud to say he lived here for a while! Never a negative word about Georgia from the people I call heroes! Makes me proud of my state!

Listening to Justin talk about his experiences with the local Afghan fighters and his Teams just adds more context to the books "Masters of Chaos" and "Not A Good Day To Die: Operation Anaconda" that's I've read previously. Such an amazing group of men amongst those "Texas" ODAs that were in country first to fight.
