Windows 95 was our operating system when we got our first computer. I’ll never forget the 3D pipes screensaver!

My grandmother still uses windows 98 on her old Compaq desktop. She said if it isn't broke don't fix it. She plays the original Sims on it and she just manages to force an old version of Firefox to access Facebook. Desktop still runs great though and she actually opens it yearly to clean out the dust.

I was an IT support person when Windows 2 came out. One of my clients were so proud of it. They said "Look. We can copy files and create directories ourselves, rather than bother you to do this for us." I asked for a demonstration. It was way more convoluted and took longer for them to copy a few files using Windows 2 than I could do with a single command in DOS. I thought to myself: Windows will never catch on.
