The Best Saltwater Spinning Reel For Under $70???

Is this Daiwa Legalis the best inshore saltwater spinning reel for under $70? So far, we think it is.

It's crazy light, it has over 20lbs of drag, it's smooth, and it looks great. After using it over the past few months, this Daiwa Legalis spinning reels reminds us of the Fuego (minus the MagSeal).

Have you tried it yet? Thoughts?

I have 3 that I have been using for over 2 years. I don't take very good care of them and they are awesome. Have never had a single issue with any of them. Actually bought 2 for under $50 each.

Just bought the 3000 size new Legalis. Its is actually 0.3 oz lighter than my old Leglalis at the same 3000 size. So far I love it!

I have two 5000 and two 6000 and they are awesome! No reason to spend more than $100 on a reel with Daiwa

Why do you guys always skip over, or never mention the Exceler? Isn’t that the reel between the Fuego and the Legalis?

A really good reel for around 85 bucks is the daiwa emcast baitrunner. I love mine

Hi guys... just a quick question for all.. im have a feugo lt 4000 size -and I never fished it yet. Will the reel be good enough for pulling up porgies and seabass when i go out on the charter boats?

Can big size 5000, 6000 handle 100gr jig?I want to shore jig, fish is not that big, Pollack is Max 5kg but there is strong sea current .I would use it with 120gr cw shore jigger about 250gr.I do not think more then 30, 40 days a year fishing with it.

So a great freshwater reel, you can use for saltwater. As long as you wash it good.
