The Syma is great to start with, expect it to lose balance fast the more you crash tho. Take it easy to start!

Hi Ali
Thanks for this great video. I fallow all you videos in general but this last one regarding the TX/RX is very good. I'am starting RC heli and i'am currently setting up a Futaba 6EX with my 450 TREX
I discovered all this by myself but it's very good to get a confirmation from you

Thx a lot

TO be quite honest, I personally started with a Heli-max CP. I used realflight simulator for about 30 hours of flighttime. Then as i flew my helimax it was pretty much junk. I got about 15 flights with it untill i had a failure in the swash plate controlls and it pretty much flew to bits.. Then I stopped flying RC helis for about 2 years. About a year ago I got the Thunder Tiger E325-V2 kit and built it myself. and I have about 30 flights on it. Practice with sims and go for it!

Been watching your videos way back when you still lived in China, this one really helps me understand what I wasn't before thanks for uploading. I just aquired a Bergen Intrepid Magnum 90 Nitro big bird and have not flown it yet, Still flying on my 450 size bird trying to get my skills improvements.

Dunno if you know it or not, but I hear your servos humming meaning one of them has stress put on it at some point and will eventually burn it up.

@alishanmao thanks a lot Ali
Actually, since i saw a lot of posts/advices regarding this, i just changed my Radio system. I sold out my 6EX 2.4Ghz and got a Spektrum DX6i... I will try all the setup and hope everything goes fine. If needed, i will drop you a small question. Thx again

I new at this and playing with a 4 chanel 300 class and love it. It seems though a 6 channel in normal mode would be very similar to a 4 channel just the actions of components is diff. I understand that the set up is more difficult but still would it be within reason to say that I could fly a 6 channel in a normal mode?

Your videos rock by the way Love the layed back humor and attitude

Is there something you have to do so when you input full elevator the helicopter will just fly forwards instead actually go upside down and also when you said negative you meant when the helicopter is inverted the controls are the other way rounds in terms of lowering the helicopter would be pushing the stick up and vise versa

I have been watching many of your videos and I like them!
You inspired me to purchase FPV and I did and I have the exactly the same model! Now you are making me to purchase heli and I need your advice. I'm total beginner when it comes to heli. I don't want to purchase just beginner heli. I'm looking for something that is not too big or not too small but good enough to make transition from beginner to 3D flight. What heli do you recommend? Also, I want the heli to be small enough to be portable.

Ali, Nice Cat; Meow :-)

I found out the DX7 EU is the Europe edition, & it has less radio output and range than the US edition.

@alishanmao Serch the Internet i.e. Google for DX7 vs DX7EU. I found someone that the number 950 meters was quoted for the EU (Europe) and 1600 meters for the DX7 (no letters) US version due to the legislation by the European Union. Really, I think you should just buy a US edition next time because it is doubtful anyone will ever check compliance.
