I’m partial to my Domane+ with the Fazua motor and battery cartridge. It’s well integrated into the down tube so it looks like a regular road bike. It has more torque. Easy to charge the battery indoors or in your car. You can remove the motor/battery cartridge and replace it with an aluminum shell, and it becomes a regular bicycle. And when the time comes to get a new battery or to just have an extra battery to increase your range, you just order one.

Last month I tried to purchase a 52cm Domane+ in carbon. I wanted a 1x12 configuration and a bright color. Unfortunately the SLR 7 AXS and SLR 6 ASX were both unavailable in my size and color. I tired 2 different dealers in my area and they both said 4-5 months lead-time. I purchased an aluminum Checkpoint instead and I love it, but I wish I could have bought a Domane+.

I prefer the tested older Domane+ HP. Bosch for the high torque.

I understand that e-mtb is designed to help in climbing. But e-roadbike? Even steel rb is pretty fast so what's the point of making it electric? Isn't it basically an electric motorcycle with pedals?

It's too bad Trek doesn't have anything at a price point to compete with the Specialized Creo 2. A Class 3 Checkpoint+ SL6 at $6, 500 would sell.

Not available for 120 days? Display on the top tube as a sweat collector and eliminating the use a top tube bag. Non-removeable battery is a poor choice for security/anti-theft, and commuters who need to remove the battery to charge it. Otherwise, this looks like a really nice bike (that no one can buy?)
