Do you need to be on wifi to use Alexa on this? Or can you still use the Alexa no matter where you are as long as you have service?

Just went through the process of setting up Alexa on my wife's new Flip2. It took me two hours on another cell phone and a laptop with three Lively agents. This is not a simple process. Nor is the final version of the app on the flip2. Numerous complaints on the Amazon Lively Skills website where the app can be downloaded. This is a work in progress. My wife and I have had the original Flip as well as the Smart2 and Smart3 over the years and this Flip2 Alexa-featured phone is a clunker amidst an otherwise senior - friendly selection. Hope Buy/Amazon get it functioning properly soon. Like, within the next 30-day return window?

I have been trying to do this several times over the past few days and when it says to go to email to confirm, it NEVER has an email from Amazon to confirm so can not set this up. Don't know who to contact to try to fix this!
