Thank you so much for your videos, sooo inspiring. I recently met a guy from Birmingham who works as a truck driver. I was shocked by his English. The accent is so heavy and quite hard to understand and lots of his sentences are grammatically wrong. Sometimes he even messes up with person and verb agreements which I assume should come natural for native speakers. Can you please tell me how could this be possible? Is it due to lack of education? And to what extent is accent (especially for ppl from the UK) related to social class? Thanks in advance.

Why do I want to be a native speaker when I may sound sometimes as one only if I wanted?
I mean, the point is not to become one of yours but to talk to you and you understand what I say. That's it. I know we will never be the same just as you will never be like us. I have my own nationality and some of us just want to communicate effectively around the whole world.

Oh come on man... The term "English native speaker" refers to "perfect English" in pronunciation, grmammar and naturally used words. There are many people with a proficiency level of English but they don`t sound like native speakers because of pronunciation and word usage. If most people use the phrase "native speaker" to refer to being able to speak in a language perfectly (and TRULY perfectly) than "native" here means "perfect" and not where you were born. So honestly, what your saying is jibberish

If it’s impossible, then why is English international language? Why is your language international, if I can’t become a native speaker? It means your language is not suitable to be international, if studying him can’t become a native speaker. Eg, if you learn Spanish or Italian, you can become a native speaker, because this languages are simpler and studying him can become a native speaker for 2 years. I think international language must be Spanish. It is suitable for everyone, it has very simple phonetics. After all, international language should be the easiest language!
