For License problem in mechanical adpl, i tried to use 2nd mac address from hostid table for license & it worked for me.

Thank you for the video. I followed all the steps and in the end I managed to open Workbench without any issues. However, once I try to open ANSYS Mechanical APDL, the following error appears:

Request name ansys does not exist in the licensing pool.
Invalid (inconsistent) license key.
The license key and data for the feature do not match.
This usually happens when a license file has been altered.

FlexNet Licensing error:-8, 544.

Does this method allows me to use APDL? If so, how can I fix the error?

i installed it the way you said it in the video. I am doing the analysis and when i try to enter the geometry, I am getting an error saying "ANSYS Licence Manager Error. Request name disco_level2 does not exist in the licensing pool. Invalid licence key"
