The Smartest Sprinkler Known to Man

I have just finished installing this Irrigreen sprinkler system. It’s amazing! Way fewer sprinkler heads, a whole lot less pipe and digging. Also, it saves a ton of water and therefore money because there is no need to have the heads overlapping. Overlapping sprinkler heads are super inefficient because a certain area of lawn might be getting hit by 4 heads while another area may only be getting hit by 1. Impossible to have a consistent/uniform amount of water.

These have been around for literally decades and it's all programmed by hand. It just takes a small amount of time to manually rotate in increments and adjust the flow with a small screwdriver.

I still use hoses in a sprinkler.. But when I do get an irrigation system this is the way I will go..

I don’t waste water on my lawn. We tend to get enough rain here that it’s not a problem. And, even when it does get a little dried out, “crispy” and brown, one rain is all it takes to bring it back to life.
