After 18 hot & humid summers in Texas we will never, ever complain about Las Vegas weather! Can’t wait to move to Summerlin! #Giddyup 🤠

Besides the summer heat, the wind is the second major factor. Winter's are cool to mild. My biggest issue is with the wind, especially on the western edge of town. 50 - 70mph gusts are not uncommon. Buy very heavy teak patio furniture. Have heated floors, your feet and energy bill will thank you. People thought I was nuts in doing that. I got the last laugh over that.

I lived there 14 years...yes the summer is hot but I loved it....everybody was always complaining about the humidity and coming from the south I laughed..I did not like the winter...it does get cold...not freezing but cold and the wind to me is the biggest complaint...if you don't like wind you won't like vegas....half the time you better have both hands on the steering wheel because the wind will knock you around....ladies if you have long hair get use to your hair up or in pony tails or forever fight with your hair whipping around your face constantly....other than that enjoy

Climate change seems to be causing Spring and Fall seasons to be shorter (sometimes lasting only for weeks, not months).
